    Default ACC Crappie Stix

I know, I know, I know, it’s a bass, not a crappie, but it’s 8lbs and I landed it on a 8’ ACC Crappie Stix rod. These things are unbelievably strong and definitely worth every penny. I matched mine with a KastKing Brutus 2000 reel and 6 lb Mr Crappie line. I was fishing a little farm pond on my property that’s just under 1 acre and about 6ft deep in the deepest part, averages about 3-5 feet everywhere else. So not a very big pond. I usually catch some smaller crappie or a little bullhead, but that monster bass is still there too.

Very nice. I can tell you this that 8' ACC crappie rod would have been one of my choices if picking one of my rods for a bass like that on crappie gear. They have plenty of backbone to handle them. Nice catch.

Definitely. When I hooked it, my initial though was it was a stump or a turtle, not much of a bite. Then I felt it pull hard to the left and it took off. Thank god I had the drag set right

Wow, that was a real hog, and by the looks very well fed in that pond. Definitely the bully of the block! Hope you can hook him again in a year or so!

Size: 108.2 KB I caught this in November. I think it might be the same fish. Caught him on a crappie jig as well.

I bought a 7 footer in the spring and it's a solid rod and enjoy it.
