I owned a pair. Had an 82 year young fishing partner trip over one of the support bars. I sold them immediately and added two more bases.

I was a little worried about them taking up too much space and poss tripping over the base. So who thinks 2 more bases on each side would be better??

I've used them since they came out. My clients have ranged from tiny to 400 pounds with zero issue with the Side-Kicks. A lot of the clients adjust them to suit their comfort zone and this works well.

Side kicks are well built, just too heavy for me to move around. I purchased some lighter duty ones. Can't comment on the lighter ones either. They are on my jon boat collecting dust. Haven't been out to try them out. I just been using my pondtoon, but not much.

Built well, easy to position around storage and livewells.
Attached is when I had set up on back deck.
