Well i finally broke down and bought a decent trolling motor. I got a minn kota Terrova. This thing is amazing. I should have gotten one sooner. Well actually I did. I got one of the first electric steer trolling motor s minn kota made. I hated the thing. But any way. I took it fishing. Thought I'd try trolling. So i motored to a starting place. I baited and set out 8 rods. Then i thought i needed the remote
So where's the remote? I realized i left it in the truck
So i took up the rods and motored back to the truck. Got t Op the remote headed back to my starting point..
Then i realized i had my cell phone. It will operate the terrova. Oh well I'll figure it out

I use the cellphone when I am out at night because of the backlit screen. It is good to use as a backup.
