When I redo my pontoon next time, I’m going to take fence off and and my own rail system. No aluminum panels, just like hand rails. Should help with the wind. Have and open front and back. Center console with a T top and leaning post, and 4 stand alone chairs, one in each corner for fishing

That sounds like a plan. I have also considered removing the aluminum panels and replacing with something like cattle panel. Should surely reduce wind drag. the wind then. I had considered a T- top as well but thinking Bimini so it can be lowered for clearance. Some of the bridges around here my not allow enough clearance for a t -top

I have used C clamps to hook to the metal under the bridges. Hanging a rop off the bridge isn't a bad idea either

It is fun taking the family out and enjoying it but when I had mine my phone was blowed up constantly hey can I can we use your toon this week Or let’s go out on your toon . I’m the type it’s hard for me to say no so she had to go! Hang tight if you looking for one you might find a deal once the colder weather sets in! If you can wait that long!
I realize it will catch more wind than the Tracker. Usually a fella can find a place to get out of the worst of the wind. Sometimes it's just best to stay home and watch fishing videos

Easiest thing to do is pull up under the bridge, tie a rope around a water bottle, and throw it up into the bridge anywhere you can find an opening. I did several years in law enforcement and my buddies and I haven’t found anyone to tell us it’s illegal. But check your state to be sure. If you don’t want to leave the rope, tie another rope to the loop section to you can pull it back out. That’s what we do if we have to put our own rope

Same here. We have one bridge with about 6-8ft of clearance depending. I’d have to fabricate a T top that could retract or something LOL

I have used a water bottle to float a rope around the pilings and tie off that way.

That was my reason for staying with the Bimini top. I could fold it back out of the way
