I’ve since added the 2001 Minn Kota Power Drive 50 that was on my grandfathers pontoon. It has a bad circuit board I’m still working on bypassing but it does work. I bought the Garmin Echomap 73SV for $400 on sale at Bass Pro last month. I’ll be buying the garmin trolling motor in the spring hopefully if the motor is still holding up. It’s a 1987 Sylvan Adventure 16 with a 1989 Mariner 60hp.
It’s by no means a Barletta but it’s mine and it’s paid off

Looks awesome. My only requirements are functional and reliable. I will add safe to the list.
Going to have the wife and the dogs, step youngins and her husband. And the boys girlfriend if he has one at the time. Those cold winter nights are awesome under those bridges

    Sounds like an awesome rig

That tent has been thought of. I am thinking all seating in front of the console be made removable. Guess a fellow could use a small truck tent in place in place of the lounge pads / tanning deck

I got a buddy that had one set up to long line. He loved it. Only draw back is they are a kite when the wind blows.

I will put an I pilot trolling motor on it and I believe I will rig it with an anchor winch front and rear. Under the bridges the anchors would work good. Over brush rely on spotlock to hold you in place.

You think the wind pushes that tracker just wait until you get a toon! Maybe you can get out of the wind on your lake but you know it’s not so here on my home pond! You will have to find a fixer up to be able to enjoy it because if you buy a newer one you want be able to take off work for having to pay for it .(lol) Prices are outrageous on newer ones. It is fun taking the family out and enjoying it but when I had mine my phone was blowed up constantly hey can I can we use your toon this week Or let’s go out on your toon . I’m the type it’s hard for me to say no so she had to go! Hang tight if you looking for one you might find a deal once the colder weather sets in! If you can wait that long!

We tie up to bridges here. Usually there’s a few ropes already hanging and we just use a bungee to connect to them. Works out well for us
