    Like fried onion? My wife's away vacationing so I'm cooking red neck farm boy style.

    A little-lot of butter to get a nice brown on the onion slices and moved them to the edge of the pan, put in the thin slices of pheasant breast browned it, and the last five minutes mix it all together simmer on low.
    And some raw fried taters on the side,seasoned everything with someName:  image.jpeg

    Fried quick and hot are good, carmelized sweet onions low and slow with lots of butter and kosher salt......MMMM GOOD!!!

    Sweet onions, thin sliced, soaked in buttermilk for 1/2 hour, then drained, floured and deep fried, piled high over a thick burger.....near Heaven on a bun!

    Fried onions are good no matter how you do them!

    I guess I like redneck cooking then. Pheasant is at the top of my like list and them onions will do just fine too. Thanks for makin me hungry.

    We've been dry,dry,dry, and hot,up here in our area of Sota land this year...There's only two things I can think of that are positive during are drought...A great Pheasant hatch this spring,and no mosquitos

    i pretty much fry onions every day of the week in a cast iron skillet (for my omelets)
    now mind you i aint particular on the lubricant
    this week is left over oil from a fish fry
    a fried onion is a fried onion by golly
    sum kawl me tha outlaw ketchn whales
