    Anything is good with fried onions. I like to use cast iron skillet when I cook.

    One of our local high school's fund raiser is Vidalia onions. We buy 40 lbs each year. We store them individually in lunch size brown bags in a separate fridge. I choose to fry/saute mine in a good olive oil. I don't want other flavors contaminating my onions...grin... I also buy my garlic in 5lb bags.

    I fry most of the veggies in my garden. Okra, peppers, squash, zucchini, green beans. All great fried.

    Love onions every way there is… raw, fried, sautéed, caramelized , grilled, baked, broiled, boiled… YepYep, I go through about 5lbs a week.Does any one else
