    Default Pflueger Akron 1893

It is a handsome little reel. Green swirl knobs, ruby red bearing caps. Made in the USA back when people took pride in what the did. Name: 20210818_173137.jpg

Maybe clean it up and make a nice display out of it. It doesn’t look like a fun reel to use, but congrats on the find.

From what I could find either made in 1926 or 1953. That was the 2 years that made that number. It is not worth much. They are pretty common. Some are even for sale with the box and papers. It's real value is in being a conversation piece I guess.

An interesting span of years. I wonder if they found a lot of parts and decided to build them out.
