I used worm-n-chunk paint from Spike It and a knitting needle to do the lines.

Ya' gotta love it when a plan comes together. Ship is not just a pretty face, and not only an aquatic species removal engineer... but also quite an artificial bait and gadget engineer as well.
He's really just an "all-around-type" fella for sure... and a heck of nice guy too.

You catching all them from the bank in this summer heat?….I would ask how your fishing to achieve that, but it sounds like this is some private pond overloaded with fish just waiting for their next meal.

I ketch from the bank and or off docks year round ,the key in the heat is the shade , that spot don't have a bite anywhere in the lake to speak of in the heat accept for the shade of the dock ,and this is the same at most all lakes in the summer in these parts .
depth plays a factor in it on some lakes and others not so much , SHADE is key .....
