Had to check a Mercury 450 is rated to consume 38 gallons an hour at wide open throttle. Multiple that by 4 engines and then consider an average gas price to $3 a gallon. Thet puts a man at $450 a hout plus for fuel. Cost lots of money to run with the big dawgs.

I suppose to each his own , but if I had money to burn like that and it would not surprise me if that rig was close to a million , I would burn it elsewhere at my age , now back when I was in my twenties , yep that would a been a yes sir rig for sure .....

Plus, if they are buying gas at a marina, depending on what part of the country you are in, the cost per gallon goes to 4 or 5 per gallon, which quickly makes it $600 to $750 per hour!! I'm with you! Even if I could afford it, that's not for me!!
Boats like that catch more bikinis than fish. My wife would have a fit if I caught a bikini 👙 and brought it in the boat for photos and then release it. Divorce lawyers would be higher than the gas bill. I will stick to the 60 hp merc
more horsepower typically equals more stupidity from what I remember on the subject as a younger man

If I’m burning fuel at that rate I’ll be in the air!
