Okuma makes some pretty small reels , pretty smooth too , they don't hold up against a real hardcore spanking like i give a reel but they are pretty nice right out of the box
i get about a year out of one max
well yesterday my wife had an accident, she was casting and the rod and reel went to the bottom, so today i want to get her another set up the rod was the shakespere micro series in 5 and a half ft. the reel was a wally marshall size 75. the reel was ok not as smooth a the pfluegers size 25 but it was lighter, so i am looking for a suggestion on a reel that is light and small. might go for the pflueger size 20. curious does Okuma have anything to fill the bill. any suggestions

Look at the Ocuma Avenger model. I had used mine hard for 10 years and love it. About the same size as my Pflueger President 20.

I have two BnM TCB Leland Rods with BnM Pro 50 reels, one for my wife and one for me. The are very light, sensitive and tough little rods. I also like the Wally Marshall Speed Shooters which I have 4 (two six footers and two 6.6 footers). The Wally Marshall’s aren’t as light but overall the too are great rods that are tough.

BTW Pflueger masses great reels. I have two Presidents on BnM Russ Bailey Rods and they are super smooth.

I'm confused. Doesn't she know how to swim.
