    Hard to beat those Pfluegers.

I have a President that has seen some heavy use for the last 3 years. It got dunked on a winter outing (trolling motor was involved) and froze solid that night. Thawed it out and it's not quite as smooth as it used to be but still working well.

For spinning generally UL is about all I do. have one particular UL set up right now may be my best ever. Ocuma Celilo rod. 5', 1-4 lb line,1/32 to 3/16oz lures. On it is an Ocuma Ignite reel. Don't know what size you'd call it, very very small. Spooled with 2# SOS line. I have felt for many years my best UL set up ever was my old Mitchell 308 on a 3206 rod, but this set up push's it really hard! Bought the rod and reel separate and less than $50 in it. Money well spent!

Sorry to hear about her health issues. Didn't mean any disrespect, just trying to lighten the mood.

not a problem spartanation, she got a kick out that, she was tempted to jump in but with a kayak not sure she would get back in, she was more mad at me yelling on why she did not use a thether on that set up, i had to be quiet she said looks who's talking, during my BASS tournaments i probably lost 6 or 7 expensive set ups, so be it, all quiet now.

I have 8 President reels and just started to show wear on the one most used. Also the first on I bought, ten years ago. Fresh and salt with some of them. Best reel for the money in that price point.

If you can find one, in the same price point, I also like a Diawa Regal LT 1000 with ten bearings. I have one in 2500 and one in 1000 size, very smooth. Handle one, you’ll see what I mean.
