    Default Hvy rods for pushing


    Looking for heavy rods to push crankbaits with 5 oz. weights .. what are you guys using.. 10-12- or 14 is what I use
    my spider rigging rods are only med. / hvy

    BnM PST's I use them for pulling and also pushing crankbaits I use 3 oz weights for pushing cranks.

    I use BNM power trollers 16' will run 4oz weights with little bend in the pole. They would run 6oz or more easy...

    For cranks I just use 14' BnM PST & 14' BnM Capps/Coleman with 2oz weights. I have 4oz weights, but have never used them, yet. When Pushing jigs I use 1oz weights on my 14' BnM Capps/Coleman rods & my 13' BPS Uncle Bucks Deluxe rods.
