    Default Barometric Pressure

I’ve always heard that the crappie tend to get the lock jaw when the barometric pressure is at certain levels and I’ve been doing some ready on it but I wanted to hear y’all’s thoughts on it? Is there some validity to it or is it just one of those old sayings?

There have been at least a couple threads on here discussing this very issue. Answers and opinions all over the board.

It seems the bottom line is always, "Go fishing when you can or want to and don't let things like barometric pressure, etc. interfere with your trip."

I also am interested in hearing what others experiences have been. Like Clear Creek says I try to go when I can.

It is hard enough getting time to go when it isn't storming to have to worry if the pressure is right also

I find most will bite any time you put a bait on them . Finding them the key . Sometimes they won't move but a short distance to bite .
