My bet is that he is making a nice income, anywhere from a nice supplemental income to a "full-time income" but I am doubting it's $200k a year. Whatever it is, looks like it took 5 years to get there and a lot of work. His video count reflects that he has put up a video every 4 days on average. Shooting the video is one thing; then you have to edit and prepare it for youtube. So, he works for it.
There are some bass fishing channels where the owner(s) have significant videography but also bigtime post-production skills and those videos are quite the productions. All of that takes quite a bit of time. Not to mention just plain talent and skill. Everybody can't do that stuff.

Thanks Damion...... I'll tell you I get nowhere near what I have spent or spend out of this not to mention the time I spend making and editing...... And on top of that I don't do the cash handout or super chats that most channels do because I do this for the love of it and enjoy helping folks out.....
It would be cool to get enough to live off of but that won't ever happen on my channel.....
Just hearing that someone has gained some knowledge that is beneficial to them helps me keep that camera rolling....
But it's hard to even get a thumbs up from most....LOL

Well, how about that, bet this conversation is stirring up a bit more traffic for Elmo too. Sk I wrote somewhere in another thread "You have always been welcome in my Theater Room". I personally knew The Duck commander bunch as well as other Duck hunting video producers. Even used some advertising dollars I was manager of to promote them. The reason Duck commander was successful is they shot ducks more than talk. The sky rained ducks when they filmed. Richard catches fish, constantly, makes you want to watch.

He does so without $100k boat, with sponsor stickers on the side. He is relatable to the average every day fisherman. That aluminun boat with the carpet grass in it looks like any untold number of boats across the nation. Most everyone can outfit themselves with gear the same or very similar to what he uses.

Very true. Some people also enjoy teaching others.
