we used to ice fish in the chest , but remember this about that .....
when whacking and stacking in the summer months you must rotate fish often ....
they are 85 or hotter when they come out of the water ....
the ones on top of the pile will spoil really quickly ...
seen it over and over with the fish right on ice thing ....
the bottom fish are fresh and crisp as a spring cucumber and the fish on top are pale as a ghost and yucky soft ....
