FIX Powedrive use foot pedal and ipilot

Right on. Turns out I have actually have a Powerdrive 55 bow mount w/ipilot so trying to figure out if I can make this work

Didnt know where to put this, hopefully a mod can move it to its correct place.

Was tired of being stuck with the ipilot which makes fishing docks a little difficult.. so i did some searching and found a solution. Well two of them, one from here which involved a board change and allowed you to use both at once, but then i throught why cant it just be a switch?? It cost me $4 for a DPDT switch and about 15 min of time to carefully hook it up. Now i can just plug in the foot pedal and flip the switch upwards, then if i want ipilot for trolling i can plug that in and flip the switch down.


I included the wiring, it really does only take a few minutes. I did extend each wire a little bit to make for easier working.

This will not work when the control board is Autopilot board. I believe all V2 Ipilots from factory uses the AP board. AP not easy-peasy. If so, I would told you.

That switch will work only with non autopilot power control boards. Yes, you could change out the power control board to the non autopilot control board, then this would work. I have done this before myself.
