I enjoy shooting docks for the challenge of ahooting a jig back under a dock and wait to see what grabs it. It is also enjoyable to grab your rods, lantern, and bucket of minnows and lounge on the bank waited for the glowstick floats to take off under the water.

Yep, it’s all good. I like a nice wade on the creek up where no one is and just easy cast and watch for wild life.

That might work well in the Neshaminy Bob, but down here much of that wildlife is gonna be Gators, some much bigger than you. lol
Dock shooting might be fun, provided of coarse there are docks.
It comes down pretty much to being a local thing as to how we go about it.
Preferences sort of evolve around that.

Yikes! Yeah, I think I would have to rethink my plan and right quick! Mountain streams only! I might even be hesitant about a kayak. Yep, local conditions rule!

Nothing like sitting in a kayak and having a 6 foot gator surface a paddle length away. It is exhilarating

I try and stay away from where I know they are once it gets warm enough for them to be active. Lol

The gator could care less you were there. If anything you would be a potential food item.

    That’s my point exactly.
I would freak out I saw one while in a kayak for sure. Not even want to be in any style boat with them around.
Guarantee I wouldn’t lip a fish under those conditions either. Lol
