For the tug! First off, they're tasty, but everyone knows that. And the big thrill is simply "the catching". When crappie fishing you're using a bait that most any fish will take, so you never know quite what's on the end of that line. That's kinda of the thrill, just not knowing, and waiting, and seeing what it is. Big crappie, small one, bullhead, brim, bass, you just never know. And then pulling it in, the fight, waiting for the moment you figure it out, that's my thrill. Seems to bring me back to my youth!
