Welcome to the wonderful world of crappie fishin.....and of course crappie.com.
Hello Everyone,
I am brand new to this site and I have run out of people to call and tell about my weekend. My wife and I are fishing partners and she loves to Bream fish so I decided to take her. We just started trolling for Crappie this year so I really wanted to go Crappie Fishing. But anyway we went to Reelfoot Sat. Morning and just got skunked. I have never that I can remember been bream fishing in and around May and caught only 5 fish. Terrible day. I was depressed so I begged her to go to Sardis on Sun. We did and limited out by 11:00 I guess I am so excited because we just starte spider rigging and I love it. All my fishing buddies always said it wasn't any fun I have never had so much fun. Sorry to ramble on just wanted to tell some folks and everyone seems really cool here Thanks.

Great way to start out using a new technique - welcome from Columbia,Tn.
All my bass buddies laugh and make fun of my spider-rigging. While they are all stressed out trying to find a fish to make money on and running all over the lake, I'm relaxing, enjoying the outdoors and the company of whoever I'm fishing with (most the time my son, dad or my wife). Not to mention catching a fish that's pretty tasty.
Welcome to Crappie.Com....the support group for addicted crappie fishermen!
Welcome in Michael! There's nothin better than a good day on the water! Our non crappie fishing friends (there are very few of those, by the way) just don't quite get the addiction, which is why it's so much fun to be here on cdc. We've made some our best friends right here on this forum.
Paul and I have been spider rigging probably 99% of the time for the past 4 or 5 years. The more aches and pains I get in my hands and neck, the more I really appreciate those rod holders!
