I have been known to grind down the edge of forks so they can cut stuff better. Wifey only lets be do the "camperware", but it works great. I grind down one edge, about to the level of a butter knife, and I can cut though all sorts of food better. Even fried crappie! So I guess it is fishing related in a round about way, cool. I'll add a pic to this post shortly to show y'all what I'm talking about.

It’s really hard to see but here’s the flat side. And the bottom pic is one where I ground it down a bit. I could probably make it sharp sharp, but even this will helps cut through a good steak even!!!!

I have to admit, I’ve never tried to cut fried crappie with a fork. #handsonly. #fingerfood

Dockshootinjack, why do you want your chickens up at 5am? Lay more eggs?

Do you have a thread or more pics on your boat? Oak? Never heard of such! That looks amazing.

All good posts in this thread.

The chickens are at the foot of a tall ridge. At 8 am it is still pretty dark down there. In the winter time it's dark even later. By putting the lights in there they are up and moving earlier. In the winter time it does help them produce more eggs. Also I can look and see if any predators are in there when I wallk the dogs before work.

The oar set up was built from rowing stations I researched on racing boats. It was made to fit that canoe. Too much running in my younger years and my knees and ankles are pretty shot. Rowing was an attempt to have an outlet to stay healthy. I will look back and see if I can find a thread. I believe it is hear in small crafts

Using a bungie cord instead of a belt to hold your pants up is a sign of a red neck

A funnel and an old brush handle. Poke it in the ground, drop in seeds, pull out funnel press dirt over seed with toe of boot, move to the next one

Eye sockets on leadheads. If you have a drill press take a drill bit turn it upside down, Chuck it up and press each side until it makes a flat on the ball. Glue on eye, works perfect.

I came up with the Carter slip float bobber.

Due to the fact your innovation resembles the "cent symbol", one could say your float is either "centsible" or it totally makes "cents"! Was that your stomach growling OR your mind groaning?? Can probably slide straw over coat-hanger b4 insertion.
