I was getting spun around by the wind while I was shooting docks. I started wishing for a thruster at the transom to hild the boat in position. Kind of like a bow thruster for the stern. The difficult part would be how to interface it with spotlock / anchor lock. That would be the berries. Total Boat Control System. Fish like the wind isn't blowing

I will dig it out tomorrow afternoon and get a material list. The most expensive part was the clear PVC pipe. They are making them now with clear heatshrink tubing. It is supposed to be considerably cheaper

How about help for the bank fishermen and fisherwomen. They need a bank fishing cart for their supplies and a rod quiver to carry their fishing rods. Then how about adding an umbrella to your favorite bank fishing chair so you can fish in the shade while using your carter slip float to catch the Crappie at a Lake called Purdy.



I made these redneck contraptions years ago and I still use them. I AM shipahoy41 and I wholeheartedly think you ought to make yourself some of that!

I wish I could remember what the tube material was I used when I did mine. I want to say it was polycarbonate, way cheaper than the pvc was. There is a YouTube channel, fishnstuff that makes one out of the clear heat shrink also. He does diy's almost weekly.

He was the one I was referring to about the heat shrink tubing. I used the light cover sold for fluorescent light bulbs. It is too thin and brittle to hold up well
