    Default build a jig testing

thought i built me a killer yesterday and went and got it wet ....
first fish yellow bass ....not good
second fish black bass ....not gooder
next fish ....slab crappie ....very good
but quite honestly it wasnt what they really wanted .
it was just me feeding them what i wanted ...
i changed over to a smaller profile in a solid color and it was what they wanted
did color matter you might ask ? dunno
maybe i shouldnt have painted the jig head ?
but i tend to lean towards the jig size/profile
baitfish are small right now for the most part
the winter freeze whacked them good and other fry are on the menu is my bet

I am building tube jigs with multiple color flashabou tails threaded through the tube with an embroidery needle. Then I super glue the entire tube to my jig head, Will go fishing soon to get them wet. Will also wet my soft plastic minnows with the pectoral fin illusions. You have a great day and stay safe my friend.
