I seldom wear a hat unless I'm fishing in a direction that puts the sun in my eyes. Then I wear a wide brim soft hat.

I go for the gray look myself. I've earned these gray hairs and am proud of them. Plus I'm too lazy to use hair dye.

The hair was getting rather long since I had not went to a barbar shop in a year, just had been trimming it myself. I got it cut yeasterday morning and had a terrible day fishing my slips yesterday afternoon.

I only caught 10 shorts, 4 barely legal and 1 14". I now wonder if it was the short hair that threw everything off. Maybe the crappie didn't recognize me with my short hair.

Any day I'm fishing is a good day, regardless of what I catch.
