Ship has also posted a slip float thread on the beginner’s forum. Nice diagrams and you can get a basic setup. It’s all right here at CC.

John, I got your phone message asking what is my slip float set up. On your main line place your slip bobber stop and then your bead. Thread on your Carter Bobber. The attached video shows the rest of my set up to fish two different color jigs at two different depths in the water column. These and other videos are on my You Tube Channel. Just type in Shipahoy41

I keep getting phone calls that some people do not see the video. Sorry. Let me try and post it again. Ralph. I made the one inch swing arm myself using floral wire. Put your snap hook or a small #10 swivel on the wire and fold the wire in half. Hold the wire with pliers and insert a small screw driver into the loop. Twist the floral wire until it is about an inch to an inch and a quarter long. Put one end on the wire through a bead and twist the wire six turns around the bead to secure it. Use your wire cutters to snip off close to the bead. Then just thread the bead on the line above the slip sinker. Done deal. Hopefully you will see the video now.

For even better results just wire the swing arm you create directly to the egg sinker and then just put your sinker on your main line and wrap it with the line five times to hold it in place.
