Spoonminnow - Stirred some hot plastic I was making lures with and noticed the film on the spoon. I took the cooled thin plastic film, laid it on a smooth surface and cut out the shape of a minnow using a box cutter razor. Dipped the front half in hot plastic to thicken the body and there you have it.

When I joined C.Com over 10years ago I lived in Baton Rouge LA. I spent 2-3 days a week in the bayou fishing. My favorite area was around Pierre Part, home of Troy Landry of Swamp People fame. I know his son Jacob and have met several other alligator hunters in the area, both on and off the show. So "Gator Bait" seamed to fit!
