Default what effect will cooler weather have on crappie fishing

Ive got a few days off planning to go to fish crappie at the ponds at Clybel WMA this weekend and now the forecast shows a cool down. The Air temps have been in yhe 80s but will get to 59 and the lows will go down to 32 nefore gradually warming back to 48. Will this mess up the crappie bite?

They still got to eat. They'll move a little deeper during a cool down and then be right back as the temps warm up.

Yes that will mess up the crappie bite. They still will bite when you figure out where they moved too tho. Finding them is the problem.

It will be tough at Clybel no matter the weather. Ton of fishing pressure there. You would have better luck at Hard Labor State Park

Another thread that has some great info in it is in the archives under Miscellaneous Forums titled " How weather effects Fish. Might be an older thread, but the info is still pertinent today. Thank you wicklundrh for the original posting back in Dec. 2017...Great read with lots of great info...

In general, how do see that playing out this time of year, how do you see BP affecting fish catching? Do you watch the barometer as to when to go fishing? Always eager to learn more!
