    Default Gapens Floats

Hi all. I just found a float company I wasn’t familiar with. Gapens Tackle looks to have a nice line of floats. Has anyone had any experience with them? They looked like nicely made floats.
    Thanks,
    Bob

Yes I used them years back...a top shelf float.

Thanks for the feedback, Randy. The line looked like they were nicely constructed, and the “waggler” style looked like it will work well. I think they would be worth a try. What I love here at CCom is the depth of experience of the members and positive attitude.

Dan Gapen. One of the unsung pioneers in fishing education, especially on rivers. Thanks for bringing back memories from long ago.

I used to visit with him and his sidekick “Bobber Anne” every year at the St. Louis boat show.
I’ve still got a couple of his rods from years ago.
