I haven't tried them. I still have a few matzuo, but I have a good supply of eagle claw...

I've been using them this spring. They work fine, right in the top of the mouth.

Always has been a good brand. Haven’t tied in a while, but the FF selection was always good for the specialty hooks.

I will not buy any jig that does not have at least a number 6 Sickle hook.

I quit using "The Little Nasty" since they break right at the bend. As posted above Matzou has been my go to, when Barlow's threw them on closeout I bought 8K in 1-6 various colors. I also bought some Mustad since it is my go to Saltwater jighead hook and the sickles I personally, really like. Can't say when my supply of closeout hooks will run out but Mustad is where I will be replenishing my stash.

I prolly wont run out of Matzuo either, but I am curious which eagle claw your having issues with... For future reference.

I have used the black Nickle size 6,4,and 2 with no issues... But not extensively.

Black Nickel #4's jig hook. They just snap off when hung up and you pull free. All the others bend, straighten enough to pull free and I bend them back (Sickle Hooks). I don't think I have ever had a Matzou to Mustad break in the sickle bend.
