    This is what I came up with. Basically what a lot of others have. It’s hard to tell from the pic but it fits right under the rod holders.

    It’s a homemade pvc pole for my livescope. Ram is working good but I’m not trolling much with it. You might need a bigger one if you were. I like that I can loosen it swing the pole in the boat travel easily.
