In Missouri you are allowed "Three unlabeled poles"... The rest must have your name an address on them. The best idea I've heard so far is to use those little address labels that charities send when they are looking for a donation.
Unfortunately, I threw mine away before I decided to learn to spider rig.
Other ideas? Ugly label maker tape? Uglier luggage tags. Duct tape and waterproof magic marker? (Ugliest)... Maybe I'll just break over and see what those stamp/lablel stores has to offer. Could peel off the mailing label from my tax forms

Thanks, Red. By the way, I noticed the Hi-Tek website on your post...Are you associated with Hi-Tek... If so, you'll be glad to know the newly labeled poles will be in a set of Hi-Tek holders.
Your welcome. Glad I could help..Originally Posted by ShortStorie
No I have the link on there as I use his rod holders. And like them.

Out of curiosity, what is the reason why you have to label your poles?

Ditto! I read the topic of this thread and thought maybe it was about being organized, you know, label a rod as "downrigger trolling" or "Planer-board Trolling" or maybe "Noodle Rod".... Was even all set to crack a joke and say I labeled mine "Fred, Barney, Bam-Bam and Dino"... Now I'm curious as to why the state would require labels on poles.Originally Posted by TapOut64

Just a guess.

Yes in MO after 3 rods you have to have your name on them. With a total of 33 hooks may be used at one time.
