Sounds like a day when your brother was catching the better fish so he wanted to stay there but you didn’t want that butt kicking. Any excuse will do. Should have let him enjoy his day in the sun. When I take my brother fishing, I take them so they can have a fun day. I don’t get to fish with him often. I’ve already scouted the spots I want to take him too.

we used to go in a 3 amigos team all the time back when .
one day the captain wanted to try another spot .
bud number 3 was on fish well .
bud number 3 never got on fish the rest of the day .
man was it a long day listening to number 3 complain to number one ...

Back in the day when fishing the spawn, no electronics and largely cane poles my brother would always "front boat" me and laugh because I wasn't catching any fish!
