Good on you Bob. There are also those who come to Pa to fish for trout, from other states, so they need to know the changes too.
Hey all you PA anglers. S10Chevy posted on the Pennsylvania Fishing Board a real nice article from the pa boating and fish commission on the upcoming 2021 trout season. A lot of good info and dates to remember. Come on over to the PA board and check it out!

I remember "opening" day back when in Pa. . Pure unadulterated insanity is a good way to describe it .
Some schools would even close and towns would go down and things would close for the day .
4 am would have EVERY single river and creek lined up elbow to elbow with people waiting for first light .
there was no parking near any water source and it was almost unbelievable the amount of people that would show up in remote spots .
A few times I even went in EXTRA early only to find folks in numbers already standing in the water in EVERY spot there might be a fish !
Of course part of it was the States fault for dumping so many large numbers of nice trout all over the place....
I will say this though in defense of the strategy ......some of them farm raised brookies were real BRUTES

Yep, here in the SE PA opening day is pretty crazy, and always has been. Go the day after and not so bad. I pretty much skip it and go to an unstocked part of the creek and spend the afternoon there. Other areas of the state offer beautiful and in some cases “blue ribbon” streams to fish. If you can get to the upper Delaware River there are monster trout and smallmouth fish.
