If I’m reading right, you got a set of Torricelli guides for $60? That’s attractive to me. Where can I look for some of those beside mudhole? Thanks

It can be done Ive had a few sub 1oz builds over the years. If your really wanting to get as low as you can shave the guide feet down. You don't think it will do much but it could be the difference of that sub 1 oz or just over. I personally don't like the way that style of guides performs. With such a small stripper guide it gives your a lot of wind knots. If you look on the rod building page the rod I have on the scale is a 5'2" with 8 stainless fuji K high frames starting with a 20 stripper plus a tip and its still 1.71oz.
