Default New Windshield Finished "Windshields by Lawrence" in New Orleans area

Mr Lawrence met me at his shop on Saturday by appointment. I drove in from Mississippi. As promised he fabricated from scratch a perfectly fitting windshield. My console on the little Blazer is multi-angled, worse the angles run in different directions. On top of that between the angles the fiberglass had dips in it. Mr Lawrence patterned the console first then took the pattern to layout, cut out, and bend up the acrylic to a point it almost fit without further adjustments. Being a craftsman the fit was not "Perfect" so he heated, shaped, and walked the acrylic so the gap around in between the gelcoat and acrylic was exactly the same. He then mounted the windshield to my console. I'm not trying to sell windshields but it is very nice to know in the New Orleans area we have such a great resource for custom boat windshields. I used to have to just duck behind my Humminbird, not any more.

It looks great BUT having had tinted windshields, I found myself having to look around it more than thru it. It could have been something with my polarized glasses, dirty, water splattered, whatever. I hope your works great for you.
