Who would do such a thing? Me. LOL

That leaning post is gonna fold in half and it’s gonna be short enough to sit on when I get finished with it!

That’s what they’re for. If it doesn’t work for you then it’s not your boat. Nice rig.

It’s always good to fix it like you want it and need it I’m sure it will look great when you finish it. I’m surprised it wasn’t already made to flip down but looks like it will soon Buy a new boat and tear it apart!

Good luck with your project. Look into building storage under your lean seat. It’s amazing how much you can stuff under there.

Excel wouldn’t build what I wanted so I wrote them a check and built it myself. Not good politics to modify a boat one doesn’t own so after I turned in my last consignment boat, it was get the saw and drill. I already had the parts I was going to need on hand. Still have a couple of things to do but planning those requires a trip to the factory to get some measurements.

That's in the plans too. Not sure if it will get done now, or later, but I can hinge the seat and build an aluminum compartment under the seat.

I’m like you. If I had access to your shop and tools I’d be seriously dangerous. Know it will be nice when you finish. Did you ask the boss before you went to work
