I’ve seen 2 YouTube videos this week posted on bbc that were videos of bass pros rigging their new boats with new Solix 12’s and they are rigging and mounting one specifically for Mega Live. Also seen a press, release from Finland posted on Mega Live being released in the immediate future. Nobody is giving dates or when, just comments sometime in March. So you will just have to wait and see but I personally think HB is going to sometime in the immediate future will release a few especially to the bass pros that are sponsored by HB.

What you have to worry about they are saying is, issues with mounting (clamping) it as a lot of trolling motors can’t handle it also with the weight if 8 lbs. of course,,,nobody knows anything yet for sure as it’s still a secret.

I'm getting excited. I have two Helix MEGA 10s. One transducer is mounted on a DaDucer. This should work out well for me. Cautiously optimistic.

Check out the DaDucer for alternate mounting. I have one because my trolling motor is too small (45 lb) for the Helix 10. Problem solved.

I apologize for so many posts on this one subject. It's just that I'm learning more about this unit. I missed the point that the transducer for thi is mounted on the shaft of the trolling motor. That is genius. So my comments about using a Da Ducer may not apply to this new unit.

    Don't be.
I suspect it won't mount on all MK trolling motors. MK/HB don't offer a mount for the Mega 360 on drive by wire TM, Terrova. I suspect teh Mega Live won't mount to Terrova either. I have a back-up plan. I bought a used boat and it came with a 12volt Powerdrive TM. I'm replacing that with a 24v Terrova. I'll use the Powerdrive fof the Mega Live and set the Course or Spot Lock to always point at the brush pile. That way the boat can swing and the Terrova can hold my position and teh Powerdrive will always point at the brushpile.

Hanr3. I gotta say that is a very, very good plan. I also agree that the Mega 360 probably will not mount on shaft of all trolling motors. In fact, HB really upset me when I purchased my Helix 10. I researched the purchase until I was sure I knew everything I could possibly know about the unit. WRONG! After I bought it and went to mount the transducer on the bottom of the trolling motor, I then learned there was no way the transducer would fit my 45lb motor. Armed with that knowledge I not only spoke to HB, but also researched the issue. Sure enough, there was "no way" to mount the transducer as I wanted. HB thinks they provided enough information for me to know this prior to purchase. I disagree of course. Their ads could have made a statement something like "Transducer requires an 85 lb thrust trolling motor for mounting." OK. I'm done ranting. Thank you so much for your post, it was very informative.
