Prayer sent for you. As MRD said the prostate biopsy is a little uncomfortable, but not painful. It is the way you will know for sure and you and your urologist can go from there with therapy recommendations. For you and your families sake get the test done and best wishes to you.

I also have walked the same path you are now undertaking. It is EXTREMELY scary the moment you hear the word CANCER and your name is attached to the report. The biopsy is not fun. They took twelve samples from my prostrate and three of them were cancerous which confirmed the doctor's suspicions. He said that if I had to get cancer that cancer of the prostrate was the most curable. He explained all of my options and I chose radiation therapy. I had radiation treatments six days a week for about two and a half months. By the blessings of God, I have been cancer free since last February. Keep the faith and stay prayerful. God knows your load limit and will not put any more on you than you can bear. I know that you know Jesus because you have asked for our prayers. Mine will join yours.

Got the good news today NO CANCER. Thanks to everyone for the prayers. On Dec 8th I will be going in for surgery. Be glad to get this behind me again thanks to all of you.
