Crappie catch

In January I set myself a goal of catching 1000 crappie in 2020 , as of Oct 1st , I surpassed my goal . I now have over 1087 crappies for the year . Any crappie under 10 inches were not counted . Most of my fish were caught in a lake that used to be a rock quarry. Drop offs and humps were all the structure available. Clarity was little, water was stained. A very tough lake to fish.
In 2021 I will increase my goal to 1500 .
Its been a great year for crappie fishing , hope to beat my goal one more time.

Congrats on surpassing your goal ! While I haven't caught anywhere near 1000 fish this year, I have succeeded in catching every stump, twig, leaf, and branch I could find...
