    Yeah shrink tube, I add a piece of wire to make shrink tube tighter but not necessary.

    I also prefer collarless jigs, and often use a tiny dab of gel superglue to hold the plastic to the head. I have also started using the R. Gene thread wrapping idea, using heavy thread instead of dental floss. Since I have a jig vise, it is easy to wrap several jigs before a fishing trip. The Locktite brand superglue gel in their mess-free bottle is easier to apply in the boat without gluing your fingers than those fiddly little tubes.
