Default Crappie Structure - Need your ideas

Wanting to add some man made structure in a local reservoir. Wondering if you have any ideas of a simple structure that is easy to build and haul in a boat. Any pictures are always good also, thanks in advance!

Also you can do word searches, to find posts. Look up on the right side of the page, for the search engine.

Agree with Ketchn. Easy to make with bamboo in cinder blocks with a tad of sackcrete to hold it. Lasts forever and allows your jig to slip off most of the times if you get too deep into it. Toughest part is balancing it on the way to where you drop it. Attracts lots of attention is why I do it first light. It also catches the wind so you really cannot scoot down the lake too fast with it on your deck. Fishermen further north like willow. We do not have much of that here in central Texas but have loads of boo.

willows are often king as they are on the shore easy to cut and a cinder block on the trunk will do it .
lots of crappie guys here drag them after they cut them close to where they want to drop them .
nothing on the planet will bring crappie faster in this part of the world for sure and about nothing will decay quicker as well , just saying

This is the easiest to make and to transport in your boat. I don't believe they are as effective as bamboo or willow but they are easier to make and transport as you don't have the bulk to deal with on the boat.
