and i should have known not to visit a public spot on this weekend
but i had to pitch my jig and paid the price i suppose
i wont go into the gory details ,but to be sure ketchna fish to some folks is WAY MORE important than using common sense and few manners
gotta love folks walking up and dropping their bait right down on your vertically jigged line first drop ,tangling it all up because the minnow was fresh and frisky and then not even apologize after they did it
i was like wow , i cant EVEN wrap my mind around being so RUDE to someone else .
rant over and KABOOM is the word yawl
p.s. AND yes i put on my mask when i saw them coming from up on the hill .

Trailer backing was part of my job description yesterday.
Had a few salmon, peeps wanting, no, going to go the wrong way. Messedwith the flow big time.
Oh well, it’s almost over, I personally can’t wait for temps in the 30s!

Yep Ketchn, there is no countn on the rudeness of some folks. Must not have been catching any where they was and saw you ketchn them biggins. So they figured they would horn in and try to take the spot. It happens where I go fish at a small lake on a bridge. I'll go to a spot, or near it at the far end of it, passing by everyone else. they will stay there till I start ketchn a couple. Next thing you know I got a crowd around me. With this covid going on, and kids out of school around here, It's hard to go fishing without many people around. I usually go early mornings as close to sun-up as I can before the crowds hit. Dang, I seem to be needing that alarm any more...oh well, Glad my boats almost finished, and she don't draft much water. Should be able to hit some back water areas the water fleas can't get to and try to rock me outta the boat...lol.
Thanks for the ride along on your outing and, man you sure do catch some pretty fish...Thank you.

Thankfully I don't have that problem on the waters I fish. A few kayakers and canoers at times but never that severe the inconsideration. Weekdays for me or early on early off on weekends.

Being famous does have its drawback. Maybe they were just mesmerized but that fancy shiny new rod. Next time try a disguise.

no sir , i ran out of stamps and had to bum one , this is clearly a sign you are mailing out way to many baits is my thoughts

they seem me before down there while i was slinging fish so i imagine they was like woooohooo its on or he wouldnt be there
and i must admit this about that , i BROKE that rod , the second visit to the water ! barely 24 hours off the shelf ! and I had just bought a brand new reel to put on it and didnt even get the chance to put it on it
i was using an old rod covered in about 4 gallons of dried crappie slime that day
