Default Will HB 360 Work With LiveScope?

I'm thinking about getting the new HB Mega 360 to add to the front of my pontoon.

I'm wondering how will it will work with LiveScope. By that I mean would I be able to run both at the same time or would I have to turn one off while using the other one.

The reason I am considering this is the narrow beam of LiveScope. I would like to be able to see all the fish around the boat while I am using LiveScope to fish the front of the boat.

Just be sure and run all your electronics on a different frequency setting to avoid any shown interference on your screens and your good to go. Mega 360 has to be plugged into a Helix g3n DI+or SI+ unit or Solix mega DI or SI g2n transducer port as it’s not like the gen1 360 which was plugged into Ethernet port. Then it can be shared via a Ethernet setup with other electronics that have same software.

    Thanks for your reply.

I have a Solix 15 SI on the dash. I will check on the model tomorrow to see if it will work with it. I think I would like to have the mega 360 but not sure I want to buy another display unit to use it.

The kicker is,,to use a mega 360, it has to be plugged into a HB electronics DI + or SI + unit,,,,and the helix models are G3N and the Solix models are G2N. Either DI+ or SI+. It gets plugged into the transducer port of the electronics and to use the transducer that comes with the unit or to use a transducer built into a trolling motor, you will also need to buy a Y cable for the Solix and or Helix. HB designed the Mega 360 to be used with the newest Electronics units and really upset a lot of HB users. I had to upgrade to a DI+ and sell one of my helix 10’s that was only 6 months old,,a G2N to use mega 360 as well as a lot of users in the same boat. One other thing most don’t know, if you do have to upgrade a unit to use the mega 360, don’t waste your money on a SI+ unit and get a DI+ unit. Mega 360 plugged into a Y cable along with a SI+ transducer,,is not wired to use the SI of the transducer, it will only show DI and 2D of the transducer, and for the unit to show SI, you will get that off the Mega 360. Mega 360 can be used for a showing either SI or the 360 view. And it does produce a equal view of SI compared to the view of SI from a mounted transducer on the boat.

I don't think I'm going to buy a new Solix just to get mega 360. I know my Solix is a Mega si + unit but it might be a gen 1 unit.

I'm going out later this morning, think I will try the livescope perspective view again before deciding. But I want 360 for 18-25 foot of water and don't believe perspective is designed to work this deep..
