Baby Shad
Great trout bait, too.
Just wondering what some of y'all's current favorites might be for casting jigs for medium / average size crappie?
Interested in other brands as well, but I'm placing an order somewhere for other items and they have quite a bit of Bobby Garland products, so will likely order some of them.
TIA for any input you may have.

I like their baby shad, baby shad swim'r and the stroller. I have some slab slay'rs, but don't reach for them too often.

The baby shad and baby shad swim’r are my main plastic then tube. I really want to try scent wiggle’r because it look good for even smaller profile and I can trim head to use with bluegill hook. Try both regular and mo’glo version.

Though I have several different BG baits, I rarely use them ... opting instead for Slabanator products (Hot Rods, Mini Rods, Shad, and the Booty Thumpers) with the Mini Rods and Shad bodies for casting (mostly) and the Hot Rods and Booty Thumper bodies for Pushing purposes (mostly). Hot Rods & Mini Rods are my go to bait for "flipping" double jig rigs with Livescope.

Another Babyshad person I have tried many other bait ( ashamed to show how many lets just say a 3 gallon tote ) but day in and day out for me they work the best. Color really does very from time of day to any other variable you can think of but my usual starting color is Vegas.

Slab Slayer and Baby shad. I like the pocket in the Slab Slayer to hold my Slab Sauce
