what kind of t-bar? i like tinkering.
Just curious if anyone has made their own T-bars out of 1” aluminum tube like you can find a HD, Lowes or Menards? Most are 1/16 thick. Is it heavy enough?
Has anyone made their own dual seat mount?
It would probably save time and money just buy them already, but I find satisfaction in making my own toys. Ideas and photos? TIA

I would like to make some no drill mounts for my bass boat. The set up would be similar to a crow foot style, the uprights of the T would be 1” square tube, the bar could be 3/4 tube or rod drilled out to attach the rod holders. The bar could pass though the end upright tube and tap set screw in it to rotate the bar to adjust your rods tips from the water. Just a thought.
I used 3/4 conduit and painted them. I used flag pole holder for the mount. I have BEE ready clamp pole holders and some Drift masters and PERROTI mounts. I just used stuff from Lowe's and rod holders I have collected over the years.
What you describe should work fine.
