Came out of a fresh cane brushpile with this little guy a few years back. He just swam up to make friends, then got impaled.

BAD NEWS ALERT SK ! Ez let the boat sit to long and it lost its crappie mojo , they took it out the other day and sent me a bunch of bass pictures .....
We best get over there next week and retrain the boat to get back on the "right" fish ....
It might be a tough job ,but some ones gotta do it ....
heck they even had livescope and still ketched the wrong fish ....
i swear this world is messed up these days

Now, Ketchn, you know we caught a lot of crappie that trip. H just didn't send you any pictures of the crappie because he did not want you to feel bad about not being in the boat with us.

I have snagged a lot but never like that.

snagged me an alligator gar about 5 foot long in the tail in a spillway one time ......
had quite similar game to a 10 lb sockeye on its run up the russian river ....
the sockeye had it beat on air time no doubt , but the drag sounded similar most of the time
