    What loop knot do you like to tie? Also, what loop knot does Ketchn tie?

    Surgeons knot is what I use. Easy to tie and plenty strong

    The non slip mono shown by DB4D works very well. It is in Kreh & Sosin’s “Practical Fishing Knots”. Pay close attention watching the video when feeding the end of the line through the loop to get the tag end back and forth correctly, and for the lighter test monos I would suggest at least 5 turns. I can still tie that one but my old fumble fingers have me down to only a few knots.

    I've use that knot before,but settled on the surgeon's loop, because it's so much more easier and faster, plus you can use it to make loops for hooks on a drop shot rig.
