Lite wire vs sickle hook

Thanks for all the replies and opinions! I dont have an issue with either, but did like the comment on “opening” up the gap on the sickle hook. Thanks again for the comments!

Wide gap hooks work for single pole great and double as a "gnat " when spider rigging . The wide gap allows a minnow with plenty of hook left . I no longer buy Gnats .

I have a livescope and it really helps me keep from getting hung.
So that lets me use sickle hook. 1/24 on plastic jigs.
They stick out further and i miss less bites
