I do not spider rig nor power troll so not real familiar with Ozark. The only comparison I can offer is that Ozark rods are graphite. Southern crappie are kevlar and carbon fiber. Hope that helps some. You can watch Ed Duke use his rods on Southern Crappie YouTube channel.

I don't know about Ozark but I have been running Southerns for 5 years and love them. I have both regular and the T series. I like the T's better unless there is now wind then the regulars are very good. They tend to blow around in the wind a little . I have bent them in a U shape and not problems and yes I do that occasionally . I like Southerns better than B&M and I have a set of B&M BGJP's. Hope this helps.

Why do you say Ozarks are no longer sold? They are available everywhere I looked.

the Tony edgars aren’t available anywhere that I’ve found. Grizzly jig has some of the old one in 12’, but I’m looking for 14’ or longer.

Oh I gotcha...I was told the "new" Pro Trolling Rods were the same only having the Tony Edgar name removed....a few cosmetic things changed but the rods were the same.
