I don't currently own a pair of Costa...wish I did. But that is what I settled on to protect my eyes from the sun in Saudi for 21 years. Not to mention just how good they were when sight fishing the Persian Gulf and Red Sea. I have found no matter the brand they will fog up depending on the weather. Also the more lens area you have the more likely they will fog up.....of course smaller lens area allows more light to get through. Just last month I got a pair of DriveWear Transitions that have a blue mirror coating...and they are good. But this time I went with a smaller leans area frame for the very reason you speak of. It has been hot and humid here and so far no fogging...but not sure I like the smaller lens area.

These will be my next pair, but just not the ones for electronics. I am not a Livescoper.

I have a pair of Costas with green mirror and absolutely love them. I don’t have any issues with fogging? I was once trout fishing with a guy (before buying Costas) and he had a pair of Maui Jim’s and I had basic cheap polarized glasses. I could see some big trout I couldn’t see with my cheaper lenses so when buying a more expensive paid I looked at the Maui Jim’s but couldn’t find any that fit to my liking. However, I am happy with my Costas!

My wife has a pair of Costas I got her years ago and she likes them. I wear Oakley polarized from time to time when driving but rarely on the boat. My many Oakleys served me well while in IRAQ and Afghanistan and I can actually am willing to pay their price vs Costa Cost (a).

Had a pair of Costa del Mar Blackfins with blue mirror lenses that I loved. I broke the temple one day moving sacks of feed. Contacted Costa and they sent me a new pair...of Hammerheads. The Blackfins were no longer made and the Hammerheads were what they substituted. The Hammerheads are front heavy, even though both had glass lenses. They are fantastic for cutting glare and allow great vision penetration through water.

I need prescriptions also, but wear contacts while fishing. I did not want to be limited by the meager assortment of fit-overs.

I've got a pair of Luxxotica/ Costa's prescription sunglasses last year and they have been great so far, got them using my vision insurance. I also have a pair of Oakley frames with RX Safety prescription lenses and they have been good but I got the blue mirrored lenses and don't really care for the way it changes the color of everything, should have gotten just polarized. RX Safety makes their prescription lenses in house.

still traumatized over the loss is me , I now wear Yum throw aways ONLY , at less than 5 bucks they are excellent and disposable , we have them in every vehicle and all over the house too , expensive sunshade eye wear is not on my go to list .
my bud just lost his Costa 200 bucks sunshades the other day on an accidental swim off in deep water , he is still traumatized as well , just saying .....
